The holidays are the unofficial giving season and the people of East Boston Savings Bank are impacting the lives of many as a result of their philanthropic efforts!
Employees, friends, and family joined together for the 32nd annual holiday auction at the Danversport Yacht Club where items donated by the aforementioned were sold to the highest bidder in the name of charity.
“The auction is a wonderful event and one our employees look forward each year as it brings them all together for the fun and enjoyment of giving to a good cause. We are proud of the role we play as a good neighbor in the communities we serve, and our employees continue to be supportive of those efforts”, said President, CEO, and Chairman Richard J. Gavegnano.
Thanks to the warm hearts of the employees and community members of East Boston Savings Bank, five local charities will receive $15,000 each in support of their efforts to implement change in their neighborhoods. Bread of Life in Malden, Crossroads Family Shelter in East Boston, East Boston Social Centers, and Greater Medford Visiting Nurse & Community Health and Citizens Inn in Peabody are all among the organizations set to proceeds from the early December event.
